The silent alarm sends the same alert as an SOS, but is meant for situations where making a sound would put you at risk.
- On the Home screen, switch on Silent alarm ("Alerts security without sound").
- Slide the SOS bar as usual. The alert is sent as a silent alarm.
Campus security sees it labelled Silent alarm on their dashboard, with your live location and details, exactly like an SOS.
Tips
- Switch it on before you might need it. Fumbling with settings in a tense moment is the last thing you want.
- Remember to switch it back off when you no longer need it, or your next alert will also be silent.
