Why Aegixo
Campus safety is a national conversation, not a rare headline.
Student unions across Nigerian institutions have repeatedly raised concerns about hostel break-ins, robbery and harassment affecting students on and around campus. It is not confined to one school or one state. It is a recurring theme in how students describe their day-to-day safety, and it is why student leaders keep calling on school management and security agencies to strengthen protection.
Aegixo does not replace campus security. It gives students and their security teams a direct, real-time way to act the moment something goes wrong.

Your location is tied to an alert or a walk. Aegixo never keeps a general history of where you have been.

Aegixo is built by Pavictek Digital Limited, a Nigerian software company making tools for student life: safety through Aegixo and skills through Pavictek Academy. It is currently in beta, rolling out to polytechnic campuses first, with conversations underway to reach university student unions too.

Questions, answered
How do I get Aegixo?
Aegixo is in beta and rolling out campus by campus. Students can request beta access and tell us their institution; we will let you know when it reaches your campus. Public App Store and Google Play releases are on our roadmap.
How much does it cost?
₦8,000 per year, paid once through Nomba, which adds its own processing fee at checkout. It does not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel. A 35% discount on Pavictek Academy courses is included. See subscription and pricing.
How does an SOS actually work?
You slide the SOS bar across the screen (the slide prevents accidental alerts). Your live location, name and details go to your campus security team, who see a pop-up on their dashboard. Your location keeps updating until the alert ends, and you can cancel a false alarm. Read the full walkthrough.
What if I have no signal?
Aegixo saves your SOS and keeps retrying, and your phone opens a pre-written text with your last known location to your emergency contacts, which you send with one tap. A normal phone call to campus security may still work. See what happens with no signal.
Who can see my location?
Nobody, in everyday use: Aegixo keeps no history of where you have been. During an alert, your campus security team can see it, and Pavictek's response staff if they assist. In Walk with me, only friends you invited, after they accept. See who can see my location.
Does Aegixo replace the police or ambulance?
No. Aegixo helps you reach your campus security team faster, but it does not guarantee a response or a response time. In immediate danger, contact the emergency services as well.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. Read the Privacy Policy and how long we keep things.
Which institutions have access?
We are rolling out in stages, starting with polytechnics, and are talking to university student unions as well. If your school is not live yet, that is a matter of rollout order, not eligibility. Get in touch and we will work out next steps.
