Terms of Service.
The terms that govern your use of Aegixo. Please read them, especially the safety section below.
Last updated: 30 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Aegixo, a campus safety app operated by Pavictek Digital Limited ("Pavictek", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Aegixo, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
Aegixo is intended for students currently enrolled at a participating Nigerian polytechnic. You must provide accurate registration information and are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Each student may hold one account.
2. What Aegixo does
Aegixo provides: an SOS alert feature that sends your live location to your campus security team; a Silent alarm variant that does the same without an audible signal; Walk with me, which lets you share your live location with a companion you choose until you mark yourself arrived; and Fake call, a local, device-only feature that simulates an incoming call.
Important — read this before relying on Aegixo in an emergency
Aegixo is a tool to help you reach your campus security team faster. It is not a replacement for local emergency services (police, ambulance, fire) and does not guarantee a response time. Delivery of an alert depends on your device having power, an active internet connection, and functioning GPS, and on your campus security team being staffed and reachable at the time. In any situation where you believe your life is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services directly in addition to using Aegixo.
3. Walk with me is peer-to-peer
Walk with me shares your location with the companion(s) you personally invite — it is not monitored by campus security staff unless you separately trigger an SOS from within that flow. Choose companions you trust.
4. Subscription & payment
Full access to Aegixo — including the ability to trigger an SOS alert — requires an active subscription of ₦8,000 per academic session (year). Subscriptions are billed through Nomba, a licensed Nigerian payment processor; any payment processing fee charged by Nomba is added at checkout and is separate from the ₦8,000 subscription price. Your subscription must be renewed each session to maintain access — it does not renew automatically. If your subscription lapses, you'll be prompted to renew before you can trigger an SOS alert again.
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Contact hello@aegixo.com if you believe you were charged in error.
5. Acceptable use
- Use SOS and Silent alarm only for genuine safety situations. Repeated false alarms or deliberate misuse may result in a warning, suspension, or termination of your account.
- Do not use Aegixo to harass, stalk, or monitor another person without their consent — including through Walk with me.
- Do not attempt to access another student's account, campus security's dashboard, or any part of the system you're not authorized to use.
- Keep your registration information accurate, including your emergency contact if you choose to add one.
6. Campus security accounts
Security personnel accounts are provisioned by their institution's administrator, not self-registered. Access is scoped to alerts originating from that officer's own polytechnic.
7. Termination
You may stop using Aegixo and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, including for misuse of the SOS or Silent alarm features.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pavictek Digital Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Aegixo — including delays or failures in alert delivery caused by network conditions, device issues, or third-party service outages beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Aegixo evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Aegixo after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
11. Contact
