- Open the active alert screen (it appears as soon as you send an alert).
- Tap Cancel alert.
The alert is marked Cancelled by student, campus security is told, and location tracking stops.
Good to know
- You can cancel while the alert is waiting or has been acknowledged. Once a responder has resolved it, it is closed and cannot be cancelled.
- Cancel quickly. A responder may already be on the way, so the sooner they know, the better.
- Your cancelled alerts still appear in your Activity history.
- Repeated false alarms can lead to account action. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
