Add emergency contacts

Emergency contacts are people campus security can try if they cannot reach you during an alert.

Add one

1. Open the Contacts tab.
2. Tap Add contact.
3. Either tap Pick from contacts, or type a name and phone number.
4. Save. Add more than one: ideally a parent or guardian, and a friend who is nearby.

Remove one

Tap the ✕ next to the contact. They will no longer be shown to campus security.

When are they contacted?

• Your contacts are visible to campus security only during an active alert, and are never shown otherwise.
• If you send an SOS with no signal, your phone opens a pre-written text to your contacts with your last known location. You tap Send yourself. See Sending an SOS with no signal.
• Your first contact's name is also used as the caller name in Fake call.
